God Created the Earth! 4000 B.C. or Earlier. Genesis 1: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.”

God Creates Man and Woman! 4000 B.C. or Earlier. Genesis 2: “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and man became a living being. The rib which the LORD God had taken from man He made into a woman.”
Bible 3
Man Sins! 4000 B.C. or Earlier. Genesis 3: Adam and Eve disobey God and eat of the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. Then the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God.”

God Promises to Redeem Mankind! 4000 B.C. or Earlier. Genesis 3:14-15 : God promises to send a redeemer who will redeem mankind back into a relationship with God. “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, And between your seed and her seed; he shall bruise your head and you shall bruise his heel.”

God Destroys the Earth by a Flood! 3500 B.C. Genesis 6: Sin spreads throughout the world and God decides to destroy mankind because of sin but Noah found grace in God’s eyes.

God Calls a Nation Through Abraham! 2091 B.C. Genesis 12: God calls a nation through Abram who will become Abraham and promises to bless all who treat them kindly and curse those who do not. “I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great. And you shall be a blessing.”

Abraham Offers His Only Son - God Extends His Promise Through Isaac! 2060 B.C. Genesis 22: Abraham attempts to offer his only son Isaac to God as a living sacrifice and God sends an angel to stop him. “Because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son (Isaac) I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore.”

God Extends His Promise Through Jacob! 1990 B.C. Genesis 28: God’s covenant with Abraham is extended through Jacob. God promises to bless him, make his descendants prosper and to protect him. “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land.”

Joseph is Sold into Slavery! 1898 B.C. Genesis 37: Jacob’s favorite son Joseph is sold into slavery for twenty pieces of silver to the Ishmaelites. “So the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they took Joseph to Egypt.”

Joseph Become Second to Pharaoh in Egypt! 1886 B.C. Genesis 41: Joseph becomes second in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and helps rule the land during a time of seven years of great famine. “And Pharaoh said to Joseph, “See, I have set you over all the land of Egypt!”

God’s Promise is Unbroken - Joseph Forgives His Brothers! 1859 B.C. Genesis 50: Joseph forgives his brothers for selling him into slavery. Joseph reminds them of God’s promise to take them out of Egypt back to the Promised Land. ”But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good.”

After 400 Years in Egypt - God Calls Moses! 1446 B.C. Exodus 3: 2-10: God calls Moses to deliver the nation of Israel out of 400 years of bondage in Egypt and to lead them back into the Promised Land that God gave them. “Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.”

God Says, “Let My People Go” to Pharaoh! 1446 B.C. Exodus 12: God says, “Let my people go” and sends 10 plagues on Egypt. After the Passover meal the Angel of Death delivers God’s final plague and all the firstborn in Egypt are killed. He passes over the houses of the children of Israel, marked in the blood of the lamb and spares them from death.

Moses Leads Israel Out of Egypt, God Parts the Red Sea! 1446 B.C. Exodus 14: God sends a strong east wind and parts the Red Sea as Moses leads the people to freedom out of Egypt. God destroys the entire Egyptian army as the Red Sea crushes them. “Let us flee from the face of Israel, for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians.”

Manna in the Wilderness - Nation of Israel Wanders 40 Years in the Desert! 1446 B.C. Exodus 16: The nation of Israel sins and God sends manna from heaven to feed the nation for forty years while they wander in the desert. “And the children of Israel ate manna forty years, until they came to an inhabited land.”

Sin in the Desert – Serpent on a Pole – Look, Believe and Live! 1410 B.C. Numbers 21: The nation of Israel sins again and rebels against God. In order to live they must by faith look up to the serpent on a pole to be saved and live. So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived.

Joshua Leads Israel into the Promised Land! 1405 B.C. Joshua 1&3: Joshua leads the nation of Israel. He crosses the Jordan river and leads the nation of Israel back into the Promised land that God gave to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses.”

Gideon, 300 Men and God Deliver the Nation! 1190 B.C. Judges 7: Gideon begins to conquer the enemy in the Promised Land and to take what God has given by His covenant promise to the nation of Israel. When the three hundred blew the trumpets, “The LORD set every man’s sword against his companion throughout the whole camp.”

God Gives Israel its First King Saul! 1050 B.C. I Samuel 9: The people rebel against God as King over the nation and God gives them their first king, according to their desires. King Saul rules over them. “And Kish had a choice and handsome son whose name was Saul.”

God Chooses a King After His Own Heart, King David! 1018 B.C. I Samuel 16: After the disaster of King Saul, God gives the nation of Israel a king after His own heart, King David from the tribe of Jesse, from whom Jesus would come. “For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”

God Establishes the Davidic Covenant from which Jesus the Messiah Will Come! 1010 B.C 2 Samuel 7: God surprises David by rejecting David’s desire to build a temple for God and promises to bless David and his lineage forever. “And your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you, Your throne shall be established forever.”’

David Writes in the Psalms about Jesus! 1000 B.C. Psalm 22: God provides us this powerful, beautiful and unique prophecy of Jesus dying for the sins of mankind 1000 years before Jesus was born. “They pierced My hands and My feet; I can count all My bones. They look and stare at Me.”

King Solomon Builds God’s Temple in Jerusalem! 966 B.C. I Kings 5: David’s son, King Solomon, as God prophesied, builds a beautiful temple to honor God and a place to worship the Lord God of heaven and earth. “Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place, he shall build the house for My name.”

10 Northern Tribes are Carried into Captivity by Assyria – 722 B.C. II Kings 15: Despite warnings from God’s prophets, the nation of Israel continues to sin against God and God sends the northern 10 tribes into captivity into Assyria.

God Promises a Redeemer Who Will Bless All Mankind! 711 B.C. Isaiah 42: God reminds us again through Isaiah, over 700 years before Jesus was born, that He would redeem all mankind through Jesus. “I will keep You and give You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the Gentiles.”

Isaiah’s Prophecy about Jesus! 711 B.C. Isaiah 53: Isaiah makes a prophecy about the suffering Messiah that God would send to deliver and redeem His people by freeing them from the penalty of sin. “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”

Daniel Interprets King Nebuchadnezzar’s Dream! 604 B.C. Daniel 2: While in captivity Daniel tells the mightiest man on earth, King Nebuchadnezzar, that God will yet establish His kingdom on earth and that Babylon will be destroyed. “The great God has made known to the king what will come to pass after this. The dream is certain, and its interpretation is sure.”

Remaining Two Tribes Carried Into Captivity into Babylon. 586 B.C. II Chronicles 36: Despite continued warnings from God’s prophets, the southern two tribes of Israel are taken into captivity to Babylon for repeatedly disobeying God. “Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up against him, and bound him in bronze fetters to carry him off to Babylon.”

Jeremiah’s Prophecy of 70 Years of Captivity! 586 B.C. Jeremiah 25: Jeremiah predicts 70 years of captivity about 40 years years before the nation of Israel is carried away into captivity in 586 B.C. “And this whole land shall be a desolation and an astonishment, and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.”

God Promises to Give Israel a New Heart! 586 B.C. Jeremiah 31: Jeremiah gives a prophecy that God will give the nation of Israel a new heart and a love for God through the power of His Holy Spirit. “I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

Angel Gabriel Visits Daniel and Delivers God’s Prophecy About the Return of the Messiah! 538 B.C. Daniel 9: Daniel has a prophecy that God will redeem His people from their sin, the end times of mankind and that He will establish His kingdom and rule the entire earth in a future time. “To make an end of sins, To make reconciliation for iniquity, To bring in everlasting righteousness.”

Exiles Return to Jerusalem – The Temple Will be Rebuilt! 538 B.C. Ezra 1: Cyrus, King of Persia, allows God’s people to return to fulfill Jeremiah’s prophecy and rebuild the temple after 70 years of captivity in Babylon. “The LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom.”

Temple is Restored and Rebuilt! 535-515 B.C. Ezra 3 & 6: Zerubbabel and Joshua lead the people in rebuilding the temple over a twenty year period to fulfill God’s Word and God’s prophecy. “Now the temple was finished on the third day of the month of Adar, which was in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.”

Walls are Rebuilt, Jerusalem is Reinhabited! 443 B.C. Nehemiah 12: After a period of time God sends back Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem to dedicate the entire city to God. “Now at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought out the Levites in all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem.”

Jesus, the Messiah is Born! 4 B.C. Luke 2: God’s promise to send a redeemer made in Genesis 3 is fulfilled. “For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

Jesus is Baptized by John the Baptist! 27 A.D. John 1 & Matthew 3: Jesus is baptized by John the Baptist to fulfill God’s promise of redemption as John announces, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”

Jesus Announces His Ministry in the Synagogue! 27 A.D. Luke 4 & Isaiah 61 Jesus announces His ministry in the synagogue and reads from the book of Isaiah that the Messiah has come. “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me. He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. To proclaim liberty to the captives.”

Jesus Tells Nicodemus of God’s Plan of Redemption: Look, Believe & Live! 28 A.D. John 3: Jesus tells Nicodemus; “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.“

Jesus Teaches About God’s Love for the Lost Through Parables! 29 A.D. Luke 15: Jesus teaches through parables about a lost coin and son about God’s great love and desire to redeem mankind back into a relationship with God. “Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!” “Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Jesus Raise Lazarus from the Dead, Proving He is God! 30 A.D. John 11: Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead after three days in the grave, proving that He is God! “Lazarus, come forth!” And he who had died came out bound hand and foot with grave clothes, and his face was wrapped with a cloth.”

God’s Promise to Send the Holy Spirit! 30 A.D. John 16: Jesus promises to send His Holy Spirit to indwell all believers to help them live a life of power to witness for Jesus. Jesus says, “He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you.”

Jesus Blesses Peter and Establishes His Church! 30 A.D. Matthew 16: “Jesus tells Peter that He will establish the church built on His sacrifice of His life for the sins of mankind. “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

Jesus Prays for Us and for Those That Will Believe! 30 A.D. John 17: Before Jesus goes to the cross to die for the sins of mankind he prays for all those who will believe in the name of Jesus. He prays that God would strengthen them against sin and the attacks of the devil. “I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.”

Jesus Predicts His Death for the Sins of Mankind! No One Understands! 30 A.D. Matthew 16 & Isaiah 42: Jesus once again tells His disciples that He came to die for the sins of mankind and to be raised from the grave on the third day to fulfill the promise made in Genesis 3. “From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things.” No one understands!

The Servant Messiah Enters into Jerusalem! 30 A.D. Matthew 21 & Zechariah 9: Jesus enters Jerusalem on a donkey to fulfill the words of the prophet Zechariah as the people proclaim. “Hosanna to the Son of David! ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the LORD!’ Hosanna in the highest!”

Jesus Celebrates Passover – The Lord’s Supper! 30 A.D. Luke 22: Jesus establishes the new covenant of communion for believers. God will now pass over the sins of believers because of the sacrifice of His broken body and the shed blood of Jesus for the sins of mankind. “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”

Jesus Prays in the Garden of Gethsemane! 30 A.D. Mark 14: Jesus prays in great agony just before He goes to the cross for our sins. “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.”

Judas Betrays Jesus! 30 A.D. Matthew 27: Judas betrays Jesus for thirty pieces of silver. Judas realizes he has betrayed an innocent man and hangs himself. “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the value of Him who was priced, and gave them for the potter’s field, as the LORD directed me.”

Jesus is Crucified! “It Is Finished!” 30 A.D. John 19:28-37 The promise made by God in Genesis 3 to redeem mankind back into a relationship with God is fulfilled. The three most important words in the entire Bible, “It is Finished!” All of the prophecies made in the Bible about Jesus, the suffering Messiah and God’s Redeemer, are fulfilled at this moment in time.

Jesus is Resurrected by God from the Dead! 30 A.D. Luke 24: God raises Jesus from the dead on the third day to fulfill the scriptures and the words of Jesus. “The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.” The penalty and the power of the grave and sin is broken when God raised Jesus from the dead!

Jesus on the Emmaus Road! 30 A.D. Luke 24: While walking on the road to Emmaus with two disciples, Jesus opens their eyes to all of the scriptures that spoke of Him. “And beginning at Moses and all the Prophets, He expounded to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.”

Jesus Gives His Disciples the Great Commission! 30 A.D. Matthew 28: Jesus gives the greatest commission ever given to mankind. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit!”

Jesus Ascends into Heaven, Promise of Power and Promises to Return! 30 A.D. Acts 1: Jesus tells the disciples they will be witnesses for Him and ascends into heaven. He promises to send the Holy Spirit to give them power to witness for His name as an angel tells them to get moving because Jesus will come again. “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me.”

The Holy Spirit Arrives at Pentecost! Gospel is Preached by Peter and 3000 Jews are Saved! 30 A.D. Acts 2: On the day of Pentecost Peter preaches the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” 3000 are saved that day.

Steven Becomes the First Martyr While Saul Watches! 31 A.D. Acts 7: Steven becomes the first martyr to die for the Gospel of Jesus Christ while a young man named Saul watches as Steven cries out! “Lord, do not charge them with this sin.” And when he had said this, he fell asleep.”

Saul is Converted and Becomes Paul! 34 A.D. Acts 9: The great persecutor of the church, Saul, is converted on the way to Damascus when he meets Jesus “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And he said, “Who are You, Lord?” Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.”

Peter Takes the Gospel to the Gentiles! 37 A.D. Acts 10: Peter is sent to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to Cornelius, a Gentile, as God now offers the Gospel not only to the Jews but to the entire world. “But God hath showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.”

Age of Grace Replaces the Law. Romans 10: The Gospel of Jesus Christ is now available to all mankind by God’s grace, not by the law or good works. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Paul Writes that God Promises, in Time, All Israel Shall be Saved! 57 A.D. Romans 11: The Apostle Paul predicts, based on the prophecy of Isaiah, that in God’s timing the entire nation of Israel will come to faith in Jesus Christ. “And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion. And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them.“

Romans 16: The mystery of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, kept secret since the beginning of time is now revealed to all. mankind and is received by faith. “The revelation of the mystery kept secret since the world began But now made manifest, by the prophetic Scriptures made known to all nations, according to the commandment of the everlasting God”

Paul Dies for Preaching the Gospel in Rome. 66 A.D. 2 Timothy 4: Paul is executed in Rome for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”

Peter Dies for Preaching the Gospel in Rome. 67 A.D. 2 Peter 1: Peter is executed in Rome for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. “For we did not follow cunningly devised fables when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of His majesty.”

John is Exiled to Patmos and Writes the Letters to the Seven Churches in Asia! 90 A.D. Revelation 1: The Apostle John is exiled to the Island of Patmos for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He receives a series of visions of the end times and writes the Book of Revelation to the seven churches in Asia. “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia.”

The Great Tribulation Begins, Many Die! Yet to take place. Revelation 13: The Great Tribulation begins and will last for 3.5 years. Satan is given free rein to terrorize the remaining believers and the entire earth. “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb.”

Jesus Returns in Power! Satan, Beast, False Prophet are Defeated! Yet to take place. Revelation 19: Jesus returns on a white horse with His army of angels and the saints and defeats Satan, the Beast and the false prophet. “And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

Satan Bound 1000 Years and Christ Reigns 1000 Years Yet to take place. Revelation 20: Satan is bound and cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years. Those who died for their faith in Jesus reign with Him for a thousand years. “Who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up and set a seal on him.”

Satanic Rebellion Crushed. Satan Cast into the Lake of Fire. Great White Throne Judgment. Yet to take place. Revelation 20: Satan is released from the bottomless pit and deceives the nations one last time before being defeated by Jesus. The Great White Throne judgment occurs and Satan and all nonbelievers are cast into the Lake of Fire forever. “Another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works.”

Jesus Creates a New Heaven and New Earth! Yet to take place. Revelation 21:1-4: God establishes His new kingdom on a new earth for all eternity. God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

Jesus Establishes His New Kingdom and New Earth! Yet to take place. Revelation 22: God establishes His new kingdom on a new earth for all eternity. ”There shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. And they shall reign forever and ever.”
